"You will believe...again"

Films: Loch Ness (1996)

Alias: None

Type: Ancient

Location: Lake/Cave

Height/Weight: That of an average submarine.

Affiliation: Good

Summary: It's high time we got a cryptid movie that didn't have the beast try and kill everything it sees. And yes, we know Harry did it first. We just think it's neat that this plesiosaur garners the same pity from us.

History: As one might guess, the legend of the Loch Ness Monster persists in Scotland. Few people have actually seen it, and as far as one man is concerned, he has to end this superstition as soon as possible. But with just about every local breathing down his neck about it and a little girl who claims to know where Nessie's clan gathers, he just might reconsider.

Notable Kills: None

Final Fate: After a disastrous first meeting in which his truth-seeking tendencies get the best of him, the man makes up for it when he decides to spare the rest of humanity of Nessie's secret. The last time we saw the beast, her family was swimming peacefully under the loch.

Powers/Abilities: Capable of understanding human whistling, much like marine mammals.

Weakness: Anything conventional and bright lights.

Scariness Factor: 1.5-Nessie may look a bit disturbingly real at times, but she and her kind are gentle giants in this case. They actually seem to enjoy interacting with humans. Humans they trust, that is.

Trivia: -The main screenwriter wrote this film in his early 20s as a tribute to his Scottish grandmother.

-Although made for theatrical release, this film ended up airing on T.V. sooner than that.

Pray she isn't of the small mammal eating variety.
Hopefully, not to rampage over a lost egg like last time.
1500 years?! How is she not dead?!
